Meet some of our staff below.


Paul A. McCormick


Bio: Paul Alan McCormick, son of founder Paul G. McCormick, is a nearly lifetime resident of Central Florida.  He started his tenure here at Cato Steel in 1968 as a welder and, after serving in the United States Air Force, returned to continue his dedicated work here while completing his BSBA at Florida Southern.  In 1994, he became President of Cato Steel, his expertise and experience carrying our company into a new generation.

Estimating & Project Coordination

Mike McCormick


Bio: Mike McCormick, the third generation of the McCormick family to guide Cato Steel, also began his career here in 1990, working as a welder upon graduating from Lake Howell High School and before joining the United States Navy.  Upon his return, he continued his work as an estimator while obtaining his BSBA at the University of Central Florida.  He oversees all Estimating activities and is heavily involved in Project Coordination. 

Office Manager

Amy Travis


Bio: Amy Travis, daughter of founder Paul G. McCormick, was a graduate of Lake Brantley High School.  She received her BSBA in Management from the University of Central Florida and, in 1994, she was hired to fill the role of Office Manager here at Cato Steel.   

Administrative Assistant

Tracy Gironda


Bio: Tracy Gironda, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and a graduate of the School for Creative and Performing Arts, joined 'Team Cato' in 2005.  She performs a variety of tasks as our Administrative Assistant.
